Celebrating the Brass Era on the Roads of Newport & Bristol

Audrain Motorsport is proud to announce the fifth annual Newport–Bristol–Newport Veteran Car Tour, taking place on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Presented by Broad Arrow Auctions and driven by Hagerty, a leading global collector car auction house, this cherished event will once again bring some of America’s finest brass-era automobiles to the scenic roads of Newport and Bristol, Rhode Island.

Celebrating the earliest days of motoring, the Audrain Veteran Car Tour brings together collectors and enthusiasts from across New England and the United States. Now a signature event on the historic motoring calendar, it has earned a reputation in the spirit of the world-famous London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, which traces its origins to the 1896 Emancipation Run marking the dawn of motoring freedom in the United Kingdom.

A Veteran Motoring Experience

On Sunday, May 17, participants will embark on a 50-mile roundtrip journey departing from the Audrain Automobile Museum on Bellevue Avenue in Newport. The route winds along Newport’s beaches before heading north through Middletown and Portsmouth, crossing the historic Mount Hope Bridge into Bristol, where drivers will pause for lunch at Blithewold Manor & Arboretum. The tour then returns to Aquidneck Island for the final leg back to the museum, concluding with a celebratory reception.

This historic car run promises an engaging tribute to the early days of motoring in Newport, offering enthusiasts the rare opportunity to experience their antique vehicles as they were originally intended to be driven.
